Lucky your cops are so uiderstanding of people who "argue" with them.

If you tried that here in the Battle Creek, MI area,  you would have earned yourself

a free ride to the jail and a trip to the judge for "obstructing".   They would have told

you to "step back" once, warned you if you didn't do it, and then had you in cuffs.

These are cops who have had to shoot a deer who had broken into a downtown store,

a baby black bear who was attacking the patrol car, so they know how to deal with

wildlife that's out of place, and doing damage.

By the way, were you going to pay the thousands of $$$   for the animals vet and

follow-up care ?   Here in Michigan, the deer, and other game belong to the state, and

you would / could not have kept the critter in your backyard legally.
