Not many people know that only about 1.5% of the Earth's water is locked up in ice. Therefore no dramatic sea level  rise will occur if it all melted.   Sea levels have been rising from the beginning of time.  Large ice meteors enter our atmosphere 24/7, and that is why seal levels have been rising.  The "authorities" will never tell you this because they will lose their control over you with their CO2 fear factor.   

It is the height of insanity to attempt to restore what Nature has taken away on such a large scale.  The same goes for man's attempt to control the rivers.  When will he learn to go with nature instead of against it?
