I quit doing their work in 2010 because they started going out on me 60 days and I was constantly having to chase up my money.

To me its always a sign when something like this happens with a client, and I collect my money and STOP doing their work, its just not worth the headache, especially when all the rest of my clients pay me weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly.
