Even if it is a "legal deal", how would another bank ever know if there was any lien or mtg on a property they might be asked to loan on? Did the state govt. not know what a problem they were creating to "try to provide some privacy" to those workers? Did not read the whole law, bug summary seems to indicate only juges, law enforcement type get to request exemption of info. How far back does the removal have to go, (every doc. on file for that person)? How's about the spouse of those legal to request redaction? Say a wife, son, etc., buys land, does that info on them remain public knowlege. Sounds like a bunch of B.S. to try to solve a problem that will create more problems for businesses, etc.. Wanna bet that some person who "wants to get one of the protected" won't be able to find the address some other way. What about election forms the person must turn in to run for office, don't they need to have the persons address listed?
