I'm sure... he wants a lower price.  I always tell people that my prices are not negotiable.  I have plenty of clients that regularly pay our current fees and I am not going to help them undercut my good clients so I can work for less!

I saw this happen extensively in the early 2000's.  Abstractors kept lowering their fees for current owner searches.  Pretty soon, the good clients that didn't ask for continuously lower prices got less and less work - many went under.  As a whole, the abstracting community shot us in the collective foot!  Now, pretty much all that is left are the clients that want us to work for nothing.

Just my little rant for the day...
