Hmmm, I didn't get an apology letter. Was it from Altisource or the company that sent the spam email? Did the sender identify themselves with a name, address or phone number?

The email you received says it was only a database  of information they "obtained from websites and yourselves". But this isn't what the spam email said and I doubt that any of us gave our information to a company calling itself "Vendors 4 You".

I'm not much reassured by this. They still have our information (possibly sensitive information) that they took from Altisource and this still leaves all of us exposed. Who knows what Nigerian scammer they may have already sold the information to. I hope Altisource will pursue this to the full extent of the law.
