i just got an "apology" from this company saying that they were not moving forward with this "un ethical practice" and that it was done by an ex-employee. I tend to agree with David that this is someone we know in South America and I'm guessing that unless he's fired himself, it's him and only him at that company. Considering the ridiculous amount of information Altisource requires us to provide them, I doubt it was only a list of general contact info and pricing we'd provided them.
Trying to maintain a friendly vendor/client relationship with Altisource is difficult (frustrating) most times; I wouldn't want to be in their sights when they're ticked off. Email below:

It was poorly written and inaccurate and offensive in many ways.
The information we have at hand is merely a data base with your contact information and counties, and some idea of pricing. Which is all obtained from websites and yourselves.
There is no security breach no need to worry, this was built by an ex employee of the company mentioned before.
Your information will not be shared with anyone.
