I am a new real estate agent and am looking to broaden my field.  Thinking that becoming a title abstractor will help as i get my feet wet in the realestate industry.  What are the criteria of becoming an abstractor? I was considering taking some paralegal courses,  tort law, legal writing and two others, thinking it may help with this goal. 

Can anyone give me any ideas, pointers, etc? thank you in advance
