Yes, you get what you pay for and for $25 per, that amounts to serious TROUBLE!  The real world requires Cost/benefit pricing with profit built in.  In order to explain pricing this Absurd, one must KNOW their is face to face court filing, recording or copies.  And without that, there can be NO local Court, court personnel, process or procedures knowledge either, which is beyond foolish since local, county and state governments continue imposing new rules, fees and procedures, while REDUCING hours of operation & necessary personnel?  You'd think these departments would recognize they are Revenue generators and add staff & expand hours of operations while improving the process?  At the end of the day, it is the local company or local abstractor whose reputation and perhaps E & O coverage loses big time.
