We've worked with Jen and I'd agree - if they are separate chains, then they're separate searches. Two parcels, one deed - one search. Two parcels, two chains, two searches. We're in about 24 states or so but PA is by FAR our biggest volume and I'd say the searchers there would agree having done a gazillion in PA, that's the way it works. Other states - meh, not always but in most states - two chains equals two searches. One assessment, even with multiple parcels, but all from the same chain - one search. You get a messy branched chain from one or two assessments, he11 yeah, that's a few searches.
Pardon my post earlier about M&M - I'm not nasty and if you search me here, you'll find my posts are decent and (sometimes off-color), generally well written and intelligent.
