I work for a couple of companies in other states who requested the same thing. As to sending conformation I usually don't bother if I am able to get the search back to them the same day otherwise I will respond with an ETA. At first contact I always request that I am allowed to use the form I designed for use as it is more simplified than the gigantic form they have designed to possibly cover every county in the U.S., most of which does not apply to KY.  So far I haven't had anyone insist that I use their form or I will not receive orders.  I now type all my searches because my hand writing has gotten a bit sloppy over the years.  I would think anyone who is reading these forms is probably pretty happy to get the typed version so they don't have to spend extra time trying to decipher the hand writing. I think every company thinks they know the best way do their job, when most of the time they are creating extra work for themselves and taking the most complicated rout to try to create the same end result. I would try contacting them and show them the form you already use and see if they would accept that form.
