I charge $30 for a recording if we did the search. If we did NOT do the search, I charge $50. We obviously don't make any money on recordings, especially out here in rural areas where there is a lot of driving required. I was finding a lot of companies that were doing searches online themselves, then wanting me to make the trip for the recording. I essentially charge the money for a current owner search to do a recording that I did not do the title search on.
