Oh Jacqueline, same here, same excuses.

The much begrudged Altisource was her reason for not paying me so I called them,  I spoke to 'them' (not divulging sources) yesterday after my call from another client and 'they' said that while they won't pay anyone they've found to be fraudulent, nor to have fake E&O, they're required to pay anyone for a search completed. COMPLETED  is the key word here - we work for them too and anyone whose done work for them will tell you if you can't supply supporting docs or an explanation why they're missing, they don't pay.  That said, my contact at Altisource (Deb cited them - I had no idea she worked for them) said they were nixed months ago after they learned they had no legit insurance.

Shame so many of us pay out the wazoo for insuranceand most companies don't check.

AND you have people/companies like our subject here who don't care about the rest of us.  Shame she made $233 last month - what does that have to do with MARCH work?
