Thanks everyone for your responses. I agree with all of you, yes, we've all been there and from time to time things get missed. Not often, but we're human. Like most of you, I will offer a free search to the client to keep everyone happy. The only reason I posted this was to get opinions as the abstractor told me through email that she was going to "blast" me on SOT if I didn't pay her in full. I at least feel vindicated in this matter. Truth be told I would like to use this abstractor again but her belligerent attitude more than likely cost her any more work.
