I can’t speak to your individual situation, Mr. Woelfel. I was merely making the point that insurance is a risk pool which only works if there are more people paying premiums than there are making claims.
And whether or not the ACA was “legitimately passed” is debatable, given that it was passed after the Senate re-wrote its procedural rules to allow a technical maneuver called reconciliation which allowed the bill to pass with a simple majority instead of the usual 60 votes required to overcome a filibuster.
And no, I didn't miss your obligatory remark about not liking either party, (sort of like saying, "some of my best friends are Conservatives"), just like I didn't miss your partisan swipe at "the Grand Obstructionist Party" and "Faux News."
