Then my guess is it's the Indian contingent and they are either saying "we don't check any other courts", or they are calling the Clerk and getting verbal information.  Or they are just ignoring that part of the search!  I've seen it before.  And yes, it is already coming back to bite our clients.  Many of them have tried and given up using overseas searchers.  We all knew it would happen.  It was just a matter of time.

However, the industry is changing, and quickly.  There will be more and more of this kind of situation.
