Lol... yeah, that pins it down. I'm not going to run a search on open ended parameters. I need a timeframe and then I'll quote and make sure the fee is approved. Like I said, I work with dozens of abstractors in michigan and none of them just keep going until they feel comfortable. What happens if your company comes back in a few months and places a claim because we didn't catch a railroad easement from 1867? And we're not going to search that far back without instructions to do so...and a really large fee. I think you must only use in house examiners. Independents cant have anything open ended. We have to have an end point.
