We do not do work for Altisource, but we share a mutual client.  In the states we do work for this client, and many other foreclosing clients, it is required that we provide a copy of the recorded complaint which is located in the civil courts. In the states we do, we have to search the records in the civil courts for any judgments/liens/suits anyways, so it's part of our fee and not a big deal.  Sorry if this does not help you in Florida, but it is standard practice up north.
