I am discounting the "none of the matches touching" as an optical issue when creating a website picture post with matches rather than a line drawing.  Also, using the matches don't touch theory leads to the instant, boring answer of no squares.

Loved this!   Worst is, I've seen it many times before and it still took me two tries to figure it out.  I'm not getting that Rubics Cube out of the closet.
