So ridiculous! We have subscriptions, insurance, office rent, ink, paper, vehicle maintenance, gas, copies, etc. to pay for ... HOW ON EARTH DO YOU GET BY LIKE THAT??

There is an abstractor in one of the counties I work in that only charge $75 for full's and way less than that for a current owner. It makes it extremely difficult to be competitive and make a living at the same time! Sometimes I wish we could have a "set standard rate" for the work we do. At this rate, they will expect us to do it for less and less and less - and before you know it - some abstractors will be getting paid the same rate as people in over in India charge! Good grief people, let's not cut off our nose in spite of our face! We are here to work for a profit and pay our bills - not killing our bodies all day to do people favors!!
