If memory serves, this happens every single time it gets very, very, very slow like it is now.
My answer to random requests is always negative & I do get a fair number of trial balloons sent my way. I'll get emails from different companies from out of state asking me to give them my *best* price. Haha. I always laugh because my best price is quite a few gradients higher than they are proposing.
We are all on line in Massachusetts & there is always the possibility of getting someone who is willing to do searches for $25; but I think that if you're an examiner who is willing to work for nothing, once you start with one of these companies, you will find yourself trapped when it's time to get paid; or it gets busy & you're still plugging away for $25.
No need for a public beatdown over this I don't think. When money is tight everyone is looking for a bargain.
