Yes, I realize not everyone can be as cosmopolitan and savvy as those of us in the East haha.  We e-fax so no matter your abilities, we can send and receive to anyone (we have a carrier pigeon too).

Agreed.  Get spell-check or have a standard checked intro you've put into Word, or had a literate person check before you send.  Ever gotten a random attached price list without any kind of greeting in the email?  Nice to meet you!  Like the lawn service company that sticks a flier in my door handle every week but can't bother knocking (or better yet... the maid service company that threw a Ziploc baggie with a large ROCK inside along with their contact info by my car.  Thanks for the trash in my driveway, now come clean it up).
