I'm really looking forward to this conference, too.  I've been attending the NALTEA conferences since 2006, missing only one (last year) and have found them all to be worth the trip. 

 Aside from all of the interesting topics provided by the speakers, this is also the big meeting of our membership for the year.  This is our best opportunity as members to voice our opinions as to where the association is headed.  It's also our chance to get more involved, and to help NALTEA grow and reach its potential.  We can join committees or run for a seat on the board of directors. 

 And, as Julia pointed out, it's a fun group.
