We tell our client what the legal description is, but we don't prepare the legal description. For example, we will mark the legal descriptions on the copy with an "X" at the beginning and an "X" at the end. Or "A" to "A"... and we tell the client that the "legal description" is:
"X" to "X" at Volume 100, Page 50, Save and Except "A" to "A" at Volume 150, Page 33.
I would not do much more than that.
