Thank you Robert for this post. I was drafting a post also.  Now I can say "What He Said".  It has been awhile since I posted on SOT. I log in & check the forums & the news, but have neglected to post.  I have stepped back for a number of reasons, personal as well as professional.  But my goal this year is to become more active.  SOT is in my opinion is a valuable site to not only abstractors, but the whole of the title industry as well.

Even though I have not posted on SOT, I have remained active in NALTEA as treasurer of the organization.  I believe that what was started 10 years ago, was important then & even more important now.  That is why I decided to run for the board & accepted the position of president. 

As Robert stated it is NALTEA is still here, through the hard work of some very dedicated people.  I felt I owe it to them & to all the abstractors out there to get back & be more involved then just collecting the money & paying the bills.  So here I am.  I will try my best to do my best & hope that those members who also have not been involved & those who aren't members "yet", will join in see what we are about. 

Those on the board & the officers this year are familiar faces.  They have been working with NALTEA for several years in one capacity or another.  I look forward to more actively working with them.
