Yes, there are plenty of happy vendors. And clients. The vast majority are definitely easy to work with and communicate well. There are some sour apples out there and now and again you run into them just like you would standing in line at McDonald's or anywhere else there are people.
All one can do is find good people and make them into a team that follows good procedures and communicates well and keeps the routine going while fixing up any real or imagined wrong with vendors and clients as best as they can. There are plenty of ways to communicate and escalate and try to resolve problems. That's how we work both upstream and down. We do all we can to full-fill our obligations and get others to full-fill theirs. It has worked well for us and hundreds of clients and thousands of vendors since 2003.
