I am not sure about WI, but in FL it is usually 30 years. Now, that being said, I am remembering hearing from more than one source that there are a few companies out there changing the parameters of what we know to be a 30-year search mid-stream, based on what verbage they had in an agreement/ contract. The outcome with them was that they looked to slash the rate because the search time exceeded what they thought and/or were promised. In some cases they used that as the push to go with the multied low-budget search/examiners. I believe that is the platform that was used. Then they didn't want to pay their bills. Does anyone else remember hearing that too? (Fairly certain it was not heresay, as I've heard it a couple of times, within the last 6 months. I just have to try to remember where.)
