e-recording ? - Patrick Miller/LA
8/25/2014 8:55:43 AM (3678 views)

I am puzzled... I know of no place in the State of Louisiana that takes weeks to provide recording.  Typically we send people to the local Clerk's office and record the documents getting the certified copies back in minutes.... yes minutes.  Originals are kept by the Clerk of Court in Louisiana.  Is there really a need for e-recording?  Even if I send recording by next day delivery, I have my certified copies back in a matter of a 2-3 business days.
