I find that very interesting since the way the VCTE program is set up by the VLTA 3/4 of 16 required CE credits must come from them and the other 1/4 can come from agency or outside sources. Since I also hold an underwriter's license, I only need an additional 8 credits each biennium, with 6 of them required to be from VLTA courses. The SCC is the one who approves what classes are acceptable for keeping the specific license, so I doubt they can claim that the 18 credits I have from Cape School won't qualify as fulfilling my requirements. All I currently need are my 6 CE credits from VLTA to be in full compliance for both license and my certification.
I hope that the classes from learntitle.com are less expensive than the ones from the VLTA. Right now it is less expensive to let the certification lapse and retake the 16 hour class, than it is to take 16 qualifying credits from the VLTA catalog. Not every class offered as CE applies to every designation.
