There are a lot of WIX type sitebuilders (there is even a new one that uses artificial intelligence to reconfigure your site based upon your content). A lot of people choose WordPress, which is a great way to go, and you can hire a designer to do custom templates for you. For static sites, blogs, or other simple designs, there are a lot of inexpensive options.
Our business also provides hosting and web design services, and we have found that those kinds of services work ok until you want to do something unique.
For example, we can automatically populate our customer's websites with state, county, and even pricing information directly from their database. Here is an example: www.rosewoodabstractors.com (this is an example of a free site provided to one customer)
Our main business is providing internet-based services that help with order management, automated pricing, and invoicing for abstractors and vendor managers. Because each of our customers receive their own hosting service, independent of other customer's data, there is already space for your website, and we provide basic design free for our customers.
Any way, I am happy to help point you in a particular direction (like WordPress, for example), so feel free to call and chat about it.
