Once they owe you they never answer a phone call or respond to an email.

They DO NOT PAY!

It isn't a matter of being a slow payer . They know that they have no intention of paying when they call you.

I asked them directly before I started working if they were sure they were going to pay . I told them about the bad reviews I had read. They assured me that it was just misunderstandings. Disgruntled abstractors that had not done work properly. Not turned in on timely manner. yada yada. They are crooks!

There are so many well deserving companies that pay their abstractors like clockwork. It's a shame that companies like this get any business.  

Lesson learned here. 

They have numerous judgments and it doesn't phase them.
