I have not heard of NitroPDF but I will certainly look into it!  "Never stop improving."  (Wait...isn't that Lowe's slogan?)  :-)

 Cute has one particular function that we use all the time -- pdf's are easily appendable and easily rearranged.  I'll check out Nitro because every program has its quirks and its drawbacks, including Cute.  Having a back-up program would certainly come in handy.  (The others we've tried just aren't a good fit.)
