Just wanted to update this thread. In 2014 and earlier in 2015 I had done some work for Global Data Source and was paid at an average of 43.5 days from my invoice to their payment. Then this past summer, on July 13th, and on August 10th and 11th I performed some work for them that totaled $220 with the copies. As of tonight, November 22nd, I still haven't been paid. These orders were performed 132, 104, and 103 days ago, respectively. I began calling and emailing them back in September about the July 13th order and was promised payment "soon". Then on October 4th I spoke to Barnabas in accounting and was promised payment was going out on October 6th. After two more weeks of waiting I called back and spoke with Ben and was told that I'd basically been lied to and that the owner wasn't approving any payment checks but he was sure my check was going out that week (roughly 20th of October). After another 10 days or so I hit them up again and was told that it was still "going out".. then I was told I'd receive a call back before the end of the day to let me know it had gone out and that also didn't happen. So I called once again and spoke with Ben and was told once again he had been told for sure my check was going out. I just emailed him again this Thursday or Friday and told him that I didn't appreciate being lied to and to at least have the integrity to tell the truth and not BS me. I also made it clear I don't need clients that lack integrity. Still awaiting payment and had a good history with Global Data Source prior to this experience so it's sad that they've chosen to ruin a solid business relationship with their slow payment times and dishonesty.
