I really do understand your viewpoint, and I'm glad you have enough local work.  (There is very little attorney work in the states I'm in so far, and definitely none here in Michigan.  Well, maybe not none, but it's rare.)  Local title companies do their own work and don't farm anything out.  Why would they?  If they're just up the street or a few miles down the road, they send their own examiners.  I don't have the option of going local and never have.  There just isn't enough work where I live, so if I wasn't a vendor manager, I couldn't stay in business at all.

 I just don't like being refused without an explanation!  It's hard not to take it personally as Argent's reputation is MY reputation, too.  It was just frustrating.  I've got a passel of good refi clients and I'd like to expand as much as I can.  No hard feelings toward anyone who rebuffed my advances!  :-)
