Source of Title Forums: Re: non payers and slow payers

Most states have a theft of services law. Check out your state / client's state and file against them. The police will contact them, like at their doorstep. Worth it, and cheaper than hiring a lawyer for the first round of "compeling payment". At least it lets them know you are serious.
