Mr. Madden...Are you the self-appointed Chief of the Copy Fee Police...?  Every abstractor I know, both in NY and VT, charges $1.00/page copy cost...regardless of what the Clerk's Office charges...myself, included...Seems to me that you have way too much time on your hands to judge and insult us... and with un-necessary profanity...

We abstractors, who are on the road ...in both good and bad weather...who try our best to accommodate our clients...should not have to justify our charges...especially to you...Chief NitPicker....If anything....we are under-paid...the cost of gas has risen...as well as car repairs, insurance, etc...BUT...our search fees and copy costs have stayed the same for years...
