Alix - I have always found BING maps to be the best to show the county the address lies within.  It is not as obvious as it used to be, but it still is there.

 Also, I agree that Plat maps do not show addresses and many many counties in many states do not have up to date plat books (hard copy) since everything is now GIS.  Sorry, George, but those are the facts on plat books.  Too many Extensions and 4H clubs that used to sponsor the plat books have gone by the wayside.
