String Information services is an India-based data mining company that in 2004 wanted to establish themselves as a Vendor Manager. They posted on SOT when Balaji N asked SOT members to define the function of a vendor management company and to send a list of VM's (your customers).


Several members realized the post was a clumsy attempt to have American abstractors instruct them on the best way to approach our customers to offer a cheap product completed by unskilled workers overseas.
