I'm giving them a chance at redemption before I post.  The searcher was already considering posting here then did three updates for this client for some reason even though they came to us when he brought up the delinquencies.  That part I don't understand.  Client got what he needed anyway.  Guarantee as a show of good faith, they'll pay for the updates and we'll be screwed on the searches we paid the same abstractor for originally. 

That was weeks ago but just mentioned today... I don't know why the abstractor didn't say something to me then.  I've known him/them for many years now.  He knew what they were up to before I did!

Maybe its wrong but I tend to be suspicious of companies who advertise as being Christian.  Its not a prejudice against any belief, just that putting that out there was meant to make one assume they're on the up-and-up.  Like Honest Abe the car dealer.
