I recently noticed a similar lengthy notice at the bottom of one of our client's orders. It was called to my attention that this client is seriously delinquent in paying us. In light of that, these all seem like loop-holes to avoid paying us.
They claim in one paragraph that its common from their clients to reduce fees paid on late orders. I can't say I've found this to be common.
Missing an ETA does not equal not getting paid at all either if the search is returned.
It was actually one of our abstractors who'd had a problem not being paid from this Florida based 'client'. They'd tried to get paid, then orders of course stopped. For some reason, this 'client' went back to them for updates on orders we'd done though I hadn't questioned payment.
I was only here now to search for the name. I hadn't previously because I didn't think it was necessary. While its never right to not pay your vendors, putting yourself out there as a Christian company just adds a nice flavor of hypocrisy to the mix. Do unto others? Screw thy neighbor more like it.
