This would be hard to do in some counties and besides that, wouldn't that make more work for the Recorders Office because they would have to give you a receipt for just a few copies for one search and then a little while later, another. I doubt County offices would like this. For example, in Erie County, PA we have buttons that have money on them for copies. You use the button on various machines, like computer, copy machine, Fiche machine to make copies. When your button runs low, you pay the Recorders Office and they put that money on your button. And you go on making copies.
