If they are already paying for my search, they have paid for my time to retrieve any necessary copies. If they are requesting a copy outside of a regular search they pay an additional fee to cover my time and the cost of the copy. If they request an additional copy outside of the normal search requirements after the completed search was submitted - the client now needs a copy of an easement or a will from within the chain - the client pays a copy request fee plus the cost of the copies.
