Everyone's business who are "slow/no payers" for work done.  If what you said is true, with 4-5 days allowed for mail delivery,  Stephen should be able to post on here Monday pm that "the check arrived".   Will stand by for that post.  Remember, you are only being talked about here on SOT because of a PROBLEM you created for yourself by not ensurring that someone was not properly paid for their efforts on your behalf.   Own your problem, don't attempt to say "only your victim should be awrare of you business methods".  I know that a multi-state company location structure can often result in problems, but how fast YOU solve it speaks of you management and control of your ompany.   Some managers would be working to repalce the person(s) in the AP dept. that caused all the strife for everyone, to prevent any future problems for your abstractors.
