Hi. I hear you. This is Synthia Fagen and I am the one who originally replied to your post and should have signed my own name (we are only registered under Dave's name).

I agree that if they only want to pay that cost, then they can get those copies themselves. We've also found ways to get documents less expensively than the county charges and in this case, CSU still pays the county price, as they should. We include the work that we do overall (including getting the docs for them) in our search fee. One way or the other we get compensated for our work.

 I was, by no means, implying that we should not be paid for the services we perform for them. Thanks for your reply.
