Please quit trying to make a "civil contract" (business deal) into a criminal matter.
You entered into a business contract with them. If you did not require pre-payment for
your work, you assume the risk of NON-PAYMENT. Know who you are willing to contract with.
If your logic was correct, no company could ever go bankrupt, or under you logic, they would
be charged with theft for the products they had provided to other businesses and not been paid for.
