I have done work for Ameristar for over a dozen years. They started getting slow-pay 2 or 3 years ago, getting 90-120 days behind. It is always difficult to get paid, and often it requires that I tell them not to send me work until they get current. Now I must say, they do ALWAYS eventually get current with me.
I will continue to do work for them, because I do not actually fear that I will never get paid, and there is enough work to warrant working with them on payment. I recently received a check for 4 months of work all at once to get me current. That fairly large check all at once did a lot to assuage my irritation.
Knowing that this is an ongoing problem, BUT, they do actually pay eventually, I have let my 12-year history with them talk me into working with them, despite the efforts necessary to get paid.to post a reply:
