This post started out with a client refusing to pay because of missing (?) information in the report. I don't remember seeing where client or abstractor was offered the opportunity to provide information nor was what was missing stated. I dread that that situation. Most clients will allow you to review the report and fix the omission. I've had clients tell me I missed a deed of trust only to find out it was recorded in the wrong County. It happens. Glad you are getting paid.
