Articulate and well spoken Will.  I totally agree.

I do not want anyone to think I was bashing SOT as a site.  I was just upset with a few of the unhelpful comments.  My point was just that we all have knowledge and information gained from different areas of title.  Why don't we work together to share that information. 

Someone trying to transition from O&G work posted a question.  I see no reason not to offer a few pointers.  Someone else had posted a question about mapping.  Having a background in O&G and right of way; GIS mapping is one of the skills in my tool belt.  I offered a few pointers.  Someone else had a question about PDF'ing documents.  That is a skill/knowledge that is necessary in the post fax age.

I would hope that I could ask questions in areas I am unfamiliar with.  This would help us ALL gain new information and skills and make us all more professional; as individuals and an industry.  Just my thoughts.
