I am afraid I may not be making myself clear.  The data entry on the billing site is IN ADDITION to all of the results we currently send.  They have created an additional step.  We are still required to send an invoice, report and copies.

We are a huge proponent of technology and we utilize it whenever possible.  We also acquiesce to any and all client requests including everything from data entry on a site, faxing, e-mailing, scanning, filling out 'cover sheets'  by hand, even the order in which attachments are placed on an e-mail.  I would chisel out a stone tablet if that is what a client requests ... might have to charge extra for shipping :-)

Again, I do not take issue with the clients request, as long as it is framed as such.  We all know the deal, the client wants us to do more work without increasing fees ... they just don't always like to say it that way.

Hopefully some day these new fancy websites may actually eliminate our need to send invoices, and when that day comes we will be grateful to no longer have to do the additional work.  But I would bet you 10 to 1 that when that day arrives we are asked to reduce our prices because we are doing less work.
