Jess - that's a very good question.  I wonder if their refusal to pay your fee could be considered theft of services.  I know that's what I would call it if a company was using my title work without bothering to pay for it. 

 I also wonder if a letter from your attorney to them demanding a return of all of your work along with a statement that they had better not be closing loans using your work product, would get their attention. 

 I did one title for them; waited my standard 30 days to get paid; listened to the song & dance about my HAVING to wait another 60 days for my check and decided that I was done with them.

 It actually took another two months of two or three times a week emailing & calling before I got my check.
